The deep and powerful wisdom of the herbal realm has mostly been forgotten in our modern culture. These classes are meant to educate, inspire and provide a fun experiential immersion into the world of everyday herbalism for our health and wellness.

In this experiential class we’ll be diving into the world of herbs and herbal remedies that support the nervous system—often referred to as nervine herbs, as well as other helpful plants. In our modern world most of us are overstimulated, overworked, and (really) burnt out. In addition to making space for rest and healing, there are many incredible herbal remedies and specific plants that can help support your wellness and journey back to balance.

We’ll talk about simple remedies in the form of teas, oils, tinctures, and steams that you can make at home, and take both as needed or ongoing to support adrenal health, fatigue, burnout and more. Some of the plants that we’ll discuss include ones familiar to many of us like Chamomile, Lavender and Rose, but we will also dive into the benefits of some additional incredible herbs, like Milky Oats and Oatstraw, Nettles, Linden, Lemon Balm, Tulsi (Holy Basil), Skullcap, Eleuthero, St. John’s Wort and more!

NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.

As part of class, we’ll talk about some great herbs you can make into overnight tea blends, herbal body oils, and tinctures. This class is open to those who are curious, and those who want to deepen their awareness of working with what I call our “green allies.” And if you choose to make some delicious remedies LIVE with us, here is your grocery list!
